Roger Hällhag

Roger heads the Swedish defence and security business area and has broad experience from other sectors. He supports clients by tracking political, regulatory, and policy developments and provides analysis and advice on large-scale defence contracts and other complex procurement processes. He assists clients with government relations, advocacy efforts, and engaging with key stakeholders. Roger provides advice on political risk and issues management, and supports clients in strategic communications.

Roger has a background as an international affairs expert for the Social Democratic Party, having served as Political Advisor to two Minsters of Defence and a Prime Minister. He joined Rud Pedersen in 2009 and has managed a wide range of client interests, including major infrastructure processes and environmental policy, defence and security policy processes, as well as industrial and economic development projects in Sweden and abroad.
Roger holds a master’s degree in economics and business administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Roger speaks Swedish and English fluently, understands Spanish and reads German and Portuguese.
