Karin Pousard

Karin is a Director and leads Rud Pedersen’s Energy & Sustainability and Food & Consumer Goods sectors. She works with monitoring policy, regulatory, and political developments in these sectors as well as engaging with key stakeholders both in government, parliament and industry. Karin works with advocacy to shape policy and key messaging/strategic communications.
Karin joined Rud Pedersen in 2021 from her role as Public Affairs Director at Volvo Group, having earlier worked at Rud Pedersen from 20214 to 2019. Previously, Karin has worked as a Policy Advisor and Political Secretary for the Moderate Party in the Swedish Parliament, working chiefly with issues related to infrastructure, business, and energy. In addition, Karin has worked at both the Stockholm and West Sweden chambers of commerce.
Karin holds a master’s degree in political science in public administration from the University of Gothenburg.
Karin speaks Swedish and English fluently.
