Selma Abed

Research Executive, Brussels

In her role as a Research Executive, Selma supports the agri-food team with a particular focus on trade and food regulation.

Selma has previous experience in a public affairs consultancy in Brussels, where she closely followed agricultural and food policy, such as food chain
sustainability, food labelling and food safety, and supported global trade associations in navigating EU affairs. In her role, Selma brings expertise in advocacy, research, report writing, stakeholders’ engagement and events planning.

Selma holds a bachelor degree in Political Science and a master degree in International Relations, both from the state University of Milan. She speaks Italian, English, French, and Arabic.
