Nick Pawley

Having Arrived in Brussels in 2017, Nick has gained almost a decade of experience in conceiving and implementing strategic communications and public affairs campaigns in the unique EU setting.

Prior to joining Rud Pedersen, Nick served as Account Manager for a boutique strategic communications agency, where he advised clients on how to build their profile among key target groups within the European Affairs context. Nick also worked as Senior Content Adviser at the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU, where he worked in close coordination with the policy team to develop advocacy campaigns and marketing materials to enhance the reputation and visibility of the Chamber.

Nick also has a background in institutional communications, having served as an ‘intra-muros’ consultant to the European Commission’s DG CONNECT communications unit. In this role he worked on both the Web and Press Teams of the DG.

Nick holds a bachelor’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Nottingham and a dual Master’s in European Studies from the University of Bath and Paris Sciences Po. Before moving to Brussels, Nick worked at the University of Nantes as a tutor of English. He is a fluent French speaker.
