Michael Flueh

Michael has had a long career working for the European Commission and a multinational agrochemical company. He works for Rud Pedersen PA Brussels since 2023.
Michael advises on regulatory processes at European level. He is involved in major projects on agrochemicals and biocides, and on WTO-SPS trade issues. He also regularly participates in international conferences.
In 1995 Michael joined the European Commission. As Head of Unit he had responsibility for various areas in the field of food safety, including pesticides and biocides, biotechnology, contaminants, and food contact material, and in the field of industrial chemicals for the REACH Regulation with the main responsibility for the authorisation and restriction processes. Furthermore, he attended regular meetings of the Management Board of the European Chemicals Agency in Helsinki. He had in all fields extensive exchanges with the European Parliament, Council and stakeholders.
