Kirsty Sciurba

Specialising in EU energy and climate policy, with a particular focus on transport and industrial decarbonisation, Kirsty is part of our Energy and Climate Practice at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs Brussels.

Since joining Rud Pedersen in October 2024, Kirsty plays a key role in project delivery within the team, managing and implementing projects for clients including car manufacturers as well as fuel and chemical producers. She supports clients in understanding and navigating the EU’s evolving Green Deal and Clean Industrial Deal framework, providing strategic insights as well as managing legislative monitoring and advocacy activities, including also event organisation. For example, Kirsty has played a key role in the organisation and execution of high-profile conferences and advocacy campaigns, including coordinating event days in the European Parliament and managing targeted engagement programmes around major EU legislative files, bringing together industry leaders and policymakers to advance dialogue on energy and climate priorities.

Before joining Rud Pedersen, Kirsty worked at Brussels-based law firm Van Bael & Bellis, where she focused on EU competition, trade, and regulatory law. She holds an LL.M. in European Law from the College of Europe in Bruges.
