Jean-Philippe Azoulay

Senior Adviser, Brussels

Born in France, Jean-Philippe Azoulay is a Senior Adviser on Food and Agriculture. A Mechanical Engineer with an MBA obtained in 1988, he spent 20 years in the Agriculture and Food industry, working in large corporations in various senior roles. He was, until recently, Vice-President for plant-based proteins at the global plant-based leader, Roquette. Earlier in his career, Jean-Philippe led DuPont Danisco’s global nutrition business, and was also regional director for DuPont’s agriculture business for EMEA, before becoming Director General of Crop Life Europe in Brussels, representing the crop protection industry. Having lived in numerous countries around the world, and with his comprehensive experience in food production, Jean-Philippe has a global view of the challenges facing the future of food and agriculture, and is passionate about the role private industry can play in providing innovative solutions to answer society’s biggest challenges.
