Alicia del Pozo

Specialised in the EU agri-food policy and legal framework, Alicia contributes to the Food and Agriculture cluster at Rud Pedersen in Brussels by bringing a holistic approach.
Since she joined in February 2025, Alicia has been supporting companies and industry associations by conducting advocacy work on regulatory files and media communication strategies. Her recent projects include: assessing policy developments and risks related to crop protection, livestock emissions, animal welfare, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), ultraprocessed foods (UPFs) and biofuels, coordinating a socio-economic impact assessment for the probiotics industry, creating a communication crisis campaign for food retailers, engaging with farmers to produce communication campaigns, and drafting advocacy tools and messages for agriscience companies.
When she joined Rud Pedersen, Alicia was also a Project and Teacher Assistant at UCLouvain Saint-Louis in Brussels for the 2025 “EU Environmental Policies and Law” programme. Previously, she was a Policy Trainee at the Council of the EU for the unit working on Animal Welfare, Plant Health, Food and Forestry, within the Directorate-General of Agriculture.
